What an amazing experience!! Food 5 stars Customer service 5 star Instructor 5 stars Amazing place
My daughter and I took a class yesterday and totally enjoyed not only the food but the stories and history that is given while you enjoy wat Hong the 3 course meal be prepared. They are very good with instructions and the explaining the difference between Cajun and creole cooking. Entertaining and instructive. Very good value and lovely thing to do for a couple of hours.
Had a blast watching the demonstration with Ms. Ann!
I went on to see the local pottery, what a great selection they have. I didn't have a great customer experience, the sales associate did not great me, I asked a question about a piece and she never stepped from behind the counter. She acted a bit put out with me asking a price. I would go back for gifts because of the selection.
We had a great time taking classes here. It was great for kids. I brought my 9 year old and 13 year old to cook with me and they had a blast. It was super mellow, super friendly and most importantly great food. I learned to make gumbo and learned some tricks that I wouldn't have without going to do it live with Nita...thanks!
My husband and I took a cooking class and loved it. We made dirty rice stuffed in a bell pepper, gumbo with chicken and andouille sausage, and bread pudding. The staff also showed us how to make bananas foster. We got to sit down and eat after it was over. We learned a lot about Cajun and Creole cuisines and history. They even froze the food we made, which allowed us to take it home with us. Fantastic experience. Highly recommend!
My girlfriend booked the class....I wasn't sure this would be for me. I mean, I don't even cook. I am glad to say it was a great time !
An awesome brunch class with Lynnabell! The barbecue shrimp and bananas foster recipes were incredible and Lynnabell gave us so many great preparation tips with regard to traditional Louisiana cooking.
