Oh my goodness the best time ever in NOLA. Gumbo, Bananas Frosters, creole .....yummy ready to start cooking Cajun!

Lessons are great and the class was the highlight (amongst a lot of NOLA traditions) of my trip. Take the private lessons! Chef Chavel was awesome. Very funny and patient. We made seafood gumbo, BBQ shrimp, and Bananas Foster. I went to Emerils the next day and ordered bbq shrimp And the dish I made was so much better and more flavorful! And you take your recipes home! Awesome authentically New Orleans experience... Highly recommended
Great experience. Definitely recommend the class. We got to enjoy some incredible dishes. It was very informative and we took the recipes home and had great experience recreating them. Exactly what we were looking for on our visit.
I just took a hands on class at CCC and it was so much fun! Nita is lovely, and the recipes are very accessible. I'm looking forward to cooking these recipes when I get home, and I will certainly be back for another class on my next visit to New Orleans.
Took a demonstration class this morning, loved it! Warning, don't eat breakfast before you go, save room for all the food!
My boyfriend and I took a cooking class while on vacation last week and had an absolute blast watching the instructors walk us through the steps of making three amazing recipes. The Gumbo and Jambalaya were the best we ever had! We are super excited to be back home with our recipes and eager to try them out on our family and friends.
