The Swamp Shack has a variety of food: salads, chicken, sandwiches, burgers (bacon, jalapenos, gator and crawfish mixed in the meat), steaks and specializing in fresh gulf seafood. We have several cajun items, Gumbo, Jambalya, Etouffee and Crawfish. 95% of our items are made from scratch. For example, it takes 12 hours to make our black roux for our gumbo. We take a lot of pride in our food. My favorite item is the Shrimp & Oyster Diablo; a shrimp, oyster and 1/2 Jalapeno wrapped in bacon deep fried and basted in BBQ sauce. ... read more

The oysters were warm ; the fish tasted like burnt oil, the rings had little to no breaking and soggy . I've eaten here before, and it was so much better .
Gumbo was not very good. I have had better. Waitress was not very good either very slow.. nice place though

The waitress was very pleasant after she took out order she forgot to take the menus off the table after we finish the appetizer she bought the entree she failed to remove the empty plates she also failed to keep the water glasses filled what her personality was very pleasant what's the thing that got me about this evening was that underneath my table there was a huge cockroach eating on a french fry and when I pointed it out to the server she said she had to go get somebody to remove it too many cockroaches in food just don... read more

I love this place i can go ther 3-4 x's a week.. I hope crawfish season anit over soon.. Cuz then Webster we have a problem....
