The Swamp Shack has a variety of food: salads, chicken, sandwiches, burgers (bacon, jalapenos, gator and crawfish mixed in the meat), steaks and specializing in fresh gulf seafood. We have several cajun items, Gumbo, Jambalya, Etouffee and Crawfish. 95% of our items are made from scratch. For example, it takes 12 hours to make our black roux for our gumbo. We take a lot of pride in our food. My favorite item is the Shrimp & Oyster Diablo; a shrimp, oyster and 1/2 Jalapeno wrapped in bacon deep fried and basted in BBQ sauce. ... read more

The swampshack is hands down a, must go, when your in the Kemah area excellent food,live entertainment,and a kind staff that makes you feel very welcome.

The seafood was excellent along with the waiter staff Ricky S made you feel comfortable not rushed will definitely be back.
