The Swamp Shack has a variety of food: salads, chicken, sandwiches, burgers (bacon, jalapenos, gator and crawfish mixed in the meat), steaks and specializing in fresh gulf seafood. We have several cajun items, Gumbo, Jambalya, Etouffee and Crawfish. 95% of our items are made from scratch. For example, it takes 12 hours to make our black roux for our gumbo. I’ve eaten here several times and the food is fantastic. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. I usually sit outside but last night was colder than normal so we sat inside by the bar. The odor inside was unpleasant. Smelt like a dirty bathroom. I’ll continue to eat there but sitting outside from here on out.
Not bad pretty good The only bad part about it it was too much juice in the tray when they bring it to you other than that. It’s a nice place to spend the weekend in crawfish and listen to music
They gave me dirty silverware and took for ever to get me new clean ones had to ask them 4 times
Food was amazing. Worth the hour drive for us! Hot, fast, delish and excellent value. Ask for William, exceptional service!
Sooooo good we had the stuffed mushrooms for the first time and they were amazing. I’m still thinking about them.
Good food outstanding service, crawfish is in and they had them spicy.
Great food, good environment & great entertainment
The crawfish were Great, spicy with a unique kind of seasoning. The "Shrimpacado" was amazing also.! The young lady that served us was VERY attentive, courteous and appreciative :)
Eating boiled crawfish in December was an unexpected but tasty surprise! The crawfish were $4.99/lb before 5PM and $6.99 after 5. And believe it or not, they weren’t all small - in fact it was a good mix of small, medium and a few large ones.
