The Swamp Shack has a variety of food: salads, chicken, sandwiches, burgers (bacon, jalapenos, gator and crawfish mixed in the meat), steaks and specializing in fresh gulf seafood. We have several cajun items, Gumbo, Jambalya, Etouffee and Crawfish. 95% of our items are made from scratch. For example, it takes 12 hours to make our black roux for our gumbo. Live entertainment was great tonight. The appetizers were good. The main plates absolutely horrible. I sent mine back it was so bad.
I have been a customer/ fan of Crazy Alan's Swamp Shack for several years. On Monday July 3 we as a family had the most awful and disrespectful experience at any restaurant I have ever eaten at. It was supposed to be a birthday dinner to celebrate my son turning 18. First off the waitress Dana was short at times felt like she was rushing and had an attitude. Did not live up to all the hype... food was awful service was even worse! Had to ask for drink refills, took forever for them to take my order and for my food to get to me... Crawfish sucked... Worst I've ever had! Ask for my check 20 minutes later someone came up and asked if I would like my check took another 5 minutes to get the check then it took 10 minutes for them to come get the money!

The service was awesome and the food was delicious!
Went there today and had awful service. Our waitress came around a total of 4 times. Ordered a beer and it took 15+ minutes along with me asking a hostess to remind our waitress that we ordered it. When the waitress brought it to our table she didn't apologize much less say a single word. The shrimp was way over cooked to the point that it was rubbery and the crab tasted freezer burned. Overall not impressed. Won't be returning.
Yo- we just slipped into this place tonight and man did it hit it out the park. Food, ambiance, temperature, booth...and Brandy was a true blessing. She will be my waitress from here on out. We will be back and look forward to making more memories. #brandy4president
Very Disappointed with the food . Ordered grilled jumbo shrimp got small guess was boiled because it was not grilled Daughetrs Seafoid Encholades came out cold Fried mushrooms tasted like a wet dog smells won't be back
