The Swamp Shack has a variety of food: salads, chicken, sandwiches, burgers (bacon, jalapenos, gator and crawfish mixed in the meat), steaks and specializing in fresh gulf seafood. We have several cajun items, Gumbo, Jambalya, Etouffee and Crawfish. 95% of our items are made from scratch. For example, it takes 12 hours to make our black roux for our gumbo. The atmosphere was nice the breeze on the patio was perfect. staff was very friendly and the food was amazing.
I've eaten at The Swamp Shack too many times to count ! Crawfish and bloodymarys at the bar!! And get the jumbo crawfish when they have them, they're fabulous! the staff are super and food and drinks are fab! When you get your crawfish to go, the Shack will fix it all up steaming hot for you!!
How the atmosphere was so delightful, the spacing of tables was spot on and the food and service was excellent.
I had the Crab Pot. It was delicious. The staff was real friendly. Our waitress, Madison G., was excellent. I would definitely recommend Crazy Alan's Swamp Shack.
The staff,, I spent too much money there to be treated the way I did on Mother’s day of all days.
Ok, so we started with the crawfish pistolettes, GET THESE, they were soooooo good!! I had the inbred burger, and my husband had the gumbo, seriously one of the best burgers I've had and he just kept saying how good the gumbo was! our kids, of course got their kids plates. They had the cheese burger, shrimp, and the other had the chicken strips, all of which were AMAZING!
