The Swamp Shack has a variety of food: salads, chicken, sandwiches, burgers (bacon, jalapenos, gator and crawfish mixed in the meat), steaks and specializing in fresh gulf seafood. We have several cajun items, Gumbo, Jambalya, Etouffee and Crawfish. 95% of our items are made from scratch. For example, it takes 12 hours to make our black roux for our gumbo. Our waiter had a terrible attitude the whole entire time my friends and I were there.. definitely wont be getting him as a waiter ever again..

Food was very good and a lot of it. Gumbo was amazing! Our server Destiny, was awesome! First time there and will be going again.

I ordered the pot with crawfish, shrimp, corn, potatoes and mushrooms. It is disappointing that a Cajun restaurant can’t even add garlic and salt to their garlic butter 🤦🏼♀️. The worst part is the crawfish were so tiny I couldn’t even peel them! They were spicy which is good but they were so bland and covered in oily substance?!?!? This thing was not cheap. I feel irritated!

My family has tried to support this restaurant before, during, and after this Covid crap. Crazy Alan will not see another dime of our money. You need to discuss with your wait staff to not discuss their likes or dislikes of people's property in front of customers. Including putting their hands on customers!!!!! While I understand people have differing opinions, voicing negatives comments in front of customers is extremely inappropriate!!!!!
