My wife and I stayed in the Wee Tree Howf on the first two nights of our honeymoon. It was the perfect retreat from a busy wedding weekend. Craighead is a lovely retreat. It is your childhood tree house upgraded into an idyllic escape from the world. We arrived right around sunset and the golden light made checking in even more magical. Absolutely adored our stay here. Being away from everything and cooking with gas stoves and open flames was the perfect little escape from modern life. We were a little under prepared for how rustic the experience would be but that was on us. The hosts were lovely and very friendly (as were their cats). As a huge LOTR fan I was very impressed with the little details and even the way the lore was incorporated into the “rules” for the stay. The most magical place I have ever stayed. We stayed in the Wee Tree Howf. We barely left as it was just perfect slow-living, hanging around the tree house all day. Loved having to get the hot tub hot yourself by the wood stove. The wee shop had everything we needed for breakfast and more. Also picked myself up a gorgeous wee mushroom necklace. I would say the mattress wasn't the comfiest but the stay was so amazing that I wouldn't mark it down for that. Brilliant stay and we will definitely be back.
Absolutely LOVED our stay here. The BagEnd was adorable, the farm was well kept and a great time seeing all of the animals. The morning view was so peaceful. And our favorite part might have been the little cat that came to visit us! Highly recommend staying here
