Covert managed to do the impossible, they turned my poor opinion of the car buying experience around completely. When it comes to business vehicles, they are so focused on the rental cars everyone else gets pushed to the back of the never ending line. You may have your place, but if more come in your further back. Scheduled an appointment, and it was pointless. When you drop it off at the scheduled time your put in the same line as everyone else without scheduled appointment. Simple oil change service you may be told 2 day turn around. Covert Chrysler/Dodge in Austin is refusing to fix a vehicle that I bought new in July. It has 1500 miles on it, and has been in the shop three times. The lemon law will not apply until the 5th time, but the dealership is refusing to see the vehicle again. Here is what is happening: You step on the gas, and the AC compressor shuts off until you reach speed. This, according to the dealership, is normal. Beware!!!! Do not buy from this dealership. They are unethical at best. They will not return phone calls or emails. I bought my husband a new jeep for Christmas and can still not get the final documentation on the sale. We have requested it so many times, with the salesmen and the sales manager, Bart. The salesman will not get us the paperwork and Bart Gunkel just flat refuses to answer our call. All we want is final documentation on the sale and we cannot get it. Lindsey at Covert Dodge was awesome! She worked with me for a few days pricing different vehicles for me on payments. I was really upside down and thought I was stuck because no other dealership could help me but she and the management made it happen :) thank You Covert Dodge I will never go anywhere else! :)
