I will never use Marriott Hotels or any affiliated hotel again. I have a business phone and I am constantly annoyed by phone calls from them even though I have requested numerous times to be removed from their list.

This is the worst hotel to stay at. The management or the general manager who is about 36 year old Indian looking woman is ******. She hires low class black woman who don’t have degrees and sleeps with other men at the hotel and loves that. I’ve seen her abuse staffs who work well and she has client who she admires who for their bad attitude and manners. I've been a Marriott member for years and couldn't have been more dissatisfied upon finding out a large portion of this Marriott Courtyard Kaua’i at Coconut Beach hotel was under construction. It wouldn't have been an issue if they had some indication on their booking website, but they decided to leave it as a surprise for arrival (they've since updated their website to now include a warning). I booked a room for a guest 2/06/19 and pre-paid the stay 2/11/19-2/13/19. The guest was asked to place a CC on file for incidentals. The guest was charged $360.00 on 2/12/19. The guest spoke with the front desk who told her it was an accidental charge by an employee who was training and they would return the charge. Upon the guests statement closing on 2/28/2019 it was observed that $353.30 was charged on her account dated 2/15/19. I called the hotel and was placed on hold and then hung up on after 20 min. After staying 9 nights in Marriott Hotels in the mast month I was surprised to see that only 1 night logged towards my loyalty program. When I called into customer service I was hung-up on not once, but twice by their representatives and told I would not receive credit for my stays.

I was searching hotels to take my significant other to during Valentines Day weekend and after searching, found the Marriott Marquis hotel on Harbor Drive. I called their reservations department which isn’t even at the hotel and at some cold calling center. On 2/21/19 I called to book several rooms for my sons graduation in Savannah Georgia in May of this year. I was told that there was a military rate however it was not available for my dates of 5/30 &5/31. The dates the military rates were available were 5/1 through 5/29. Convenient right? I reserved a room at the Marriott Courtyard, Saint Louis Park, February 14th, 2019. The first thing that grasped my attention was how helpful the staff was. They were immediately willing to guide me where I needed to be. But, more than that, through clear instruction, able to get me there. Never been so frustrated. Call centre unhelpful. Went to twitter, they asked for info and then referred me back to call centre. (Going around in circles) Went to Facebook they asked for email. Emails bounced back as Marriott email is full. The gist of our situation is that Marriott took USD 375 from our credit card for one nights accommodation in addition to our 60000 points. Logically why would we pay that for one night stay and use all our points when we could have just used money for entire stay and kept our points. Nobod... read more
