It was the worst Marriott service I've ever experienced during my 10+ years of being a Marriott member. My family and I traveled to Michigan for a very important family event and purchased rooms at this hotel in advance, my sister used a Military discount for her room as she is a Lieutenant in the service. Once we arrived she was told that she needed "active duty papers" and her military I.D. was not enough for the ($17) discount. The Marriott World Center in Orlando indicated on ORBITZ website, rates for Resort View or Pool View. Note that the Resort View (balcony) is not by any means, a Resort View. It is the view of a lot used as a loading dock, with massive air conditioner units. In addition, the balcony was full of cob webs and spiders. The tub was grossly dirty and/or stained. Vehicle vandalized in their parking lot. Absolutely no customer service! Would advise no one to book at this property.

False advertising: Marriott misleads the public by not accurately reporting the room rate of the room you're booking. In my case the nightly room rate was $88 higher than advertised. This is before accounting for additional taxes and fees. Marriott's website very clearly stated a room was available for $234 / night ($556 total). Imagine my surprise when I learned the room was actually only $234 for the first night, and I had to pay $643.93 total. I stayed at your hotel at Madeira Beach, FL off of AMerican Legion Dr for 5 nites. The last nite, I found a needle in my pillow. A type of needle placed in the pillow positioned where it wasnt an accidental drop of sorts.Im sorry, I have stayed in hotels for travel for far too long to realize the difference.

One of the worst customer Service. I talked to Alex customer service supervisor. First time when I talked to him, he sounded that I just woke him up from his nap. He was very rude and told me to read the number carefully before I dial it and he doesn't represent the correct department. Avoid this place! The hotel is dirty, hallways and stairwells appear to be rarely if ever swept. Trash is not emptied from rooms during the week. Toilet paper and "free" coffee are only replaced if requested at front desk. "Free" food in the evening is better at a typical homeless shelter.
