My partner booked hayloft cottage for my birthday weekend, lovely little place and lovely location and lots of walks for dogs and Jo is very friendly! Only negative is the hot water! The hot water is controlled by an immersion heater! Couldn’t have a decent bath or shower and once the water had gone that’s it for hours!

Stayed in the “Hayloft” with our 2 dogs, for 3 nights. |fantastic location for rural walks and not far from Keswick, Penrith , Cockermouth if driving.|Cottage is an upside down and the views from the balcony out of the living room onto the trees is why!! |20 minute walk into the nearest village, the pub Masons Arms serves food ( 6/10) but very friendly - suggests booking a table on a Saturday night if eating as they only have 8 ish tables which they will serve food on!! |There is an “all singing/dancing 2 person shower ( and... read more

My sister and I had two cottages next to each other my review is for Parker cottage .|Although the owners were very coutious|On arrival I was surprised to see that the actual outside standards were not like the pictures , and the garden areas were a bit unkept .|The cottage was very dated where the log fire was , there were burns in the rug .|The microwave had 4 inch of rust on the back which seemed a bit of a health risk .|The crockery was old and several plates had large cracks .|A lot of rust on the varander with hanging ... read more
