Stayed in Forresters room, good room choice but watch your head climbing the stairs. Good touch with the personalised parking spots. Ideal location with restaurant onsite and more restaurants (and at least one nice pub) and shops within a few minutes walk.

Staying here was our first time travelling with my sister and her dog and we were a little apprehensive about how it would be. We needn’t have worried every staff member we interacted with was so dog friendly. The rooms were lovely and having a patio area outside the dog friendly room was an added bonus as we could all sit outside. Breakfast was delicious and there are lots of lovely pubs/restaurants within walking distance. Overall we had a wonderful stay.

We had a great stay here while visiting the New Forest. The service was both professional and welcoming, and the location is excellent. Breakfast offered plenty of variety, all of high quality, and we especially appreciated having our own parking space with EV charging, plus secure bike storage (although it’s outdoors, so a rain cover is a good idea). We stayed in the James Hill room. While comfortable overall, the shower could be improved — increasing the pressure makes the water turn cold, and the extractor fan wasn’t work... read more

This is our 2nd stay here and we feel it has changed a lot and not for the better .. the rooms were not as clean as the first time we stayed. Christine is amazing as always she provides a lovely welcoming greeting for breakfast and provides a lovely service . Location could not be better such a beautiful beautiful place so so peaceful.
