Corriegour Lodge is the sort of hotel I didn’t think existed anymore. Personal welcome and handshake from the owner on arrival, pre-dinner drinks in the cosy bar just off the dining room with panoramic views of Loch Lochy (great name for a Loch), dinner that gave vibes of being home-cooked yet starred restaurant standard, post-dinner whisky in the communal lounge around the fire. Location was midway between Fort William and Invergerry. It's an older lodge and could have used some TLC with wallpaper and decor. The room was hard to regulate temperate because there was only a radiator and no AC. No lift either.Not quite what we expected but we should have read the fine print, I suppose. Only ate breakfast there. Had some mixed experiences with staff but nice in general.

We spent two nights here and loved it very much. Christian and Ian made us feel like family from the minute we arrived. The food was great and the hospitality even better! Highly recommend staying here!
We had such a wonderful stay at Corriegour Lodge! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and genuinely friendly – nothing was ever too much trouble, they really go out of their way to help with anything you need.
