For 6 months I suffered excruciating pain in my hamstrings to the bottoms of my feet. I had several months of physical therapy but the pain still persisted in both legs. I finally got up the courage to call Dr. Wallach, who came highly recommended, to see what my options would be because I could no longer deal with the pain. An MRI and several X-rays revealed my only option was surgery. Dr. Wallach performed surgery on February 18, 2021, and I wish I had seen him 6 months earlier. He literally gave me my life back. I can’t s... read more
I spent a year trying to postpone back surgery. Weekly PT, daily pain and terrible quality of life. When I maxed out on my injections I knew i needed surgery for L4/L5. Therefore I interviewed 3 surgeons and chose Dr Wallach. I can tell you it was the best decision of my life. Two days following my laminectomy with fusion in July 2019, I was released from the hospital and the next day I began walking in my neighborhood. Within 2 weeks i was pain was controllable without meds and began getting my life back. I worked hard to s... read more
I worked with Deneen Dr.Wallach’s PA and found her medical information incorrect, her mannerism rude and dismissive. Because Dr.Wallach works with her I found a new orthopedist to solve my problems.
I understand that Dr. Wallach is a wonderful surgeon. However, his bedside manner could definitely use some work. I felt rushed in our meeting, only to hear him walk across the hall when he was done with me and say "sorry to keep you waiting" to another patient. I guess he was in a rush. He barely let me finish my question before giving me a curt answer. I asked about an option that I had researched on my own. He did not explain the options, pros and cons or why he would recommend one over the other for me. Just told me to s... read more
My wife had back surgery with him five years ago. She has been in pain ever since. He doesnt care, not even to call he about her condition. If you want the onset of constant pain, go to him.
Dr. Wallach has been amazing. He started my terrible back very conservatively, and when surgery was required, he performed a surgery to perfection. I was almost constantly at a pain level 7-10. I couldn't walk more that 100yds without having to sit down, and couldn't stand for more than 5-10 minutes. After a multi-level fusion, I can walk for several miles, (as far as I've wanted) and can stand for as long as I want with minimal to no pain. He is a life changer.
Dr. Wallach is an exceptional doctor! He operated on both my husband and I, with great results. He was caring, explained everything, and was always open to questions. I never felt rushed, and he was always reassuring before and after surgery.
My husband has had 3 surgeries with Dr. Wallach and our experience has been exceptional. Dr. Wallach listens intently to his patients and thoroughly explains every action he will take. My husband is so much improved thanks to Dr. Wallach's expertise. His bedside manner is very caring. We trust his recommendations implicitly and would go to no other back surgeon! Every nurse we encountered in the hospital spoke highly of Dr. Wallach and many said they would go to him over other doctors if they had back issues. We couldn't giv... read more
Dr. Corey Wallach is an excellent surgeon and relieved me of pain in my back and legs, returning me to a pain free life. I spent 6 months with another practice who did absolutely nothing for my pain. After one visit with Dr. Wallach, I had a plan of treatment and eventually surgery to replace two discs and a fusion of my L4, L5, and S1. He called and visited me after surgery and even when I returned home from the hospital. I am two months from surgery and feeling great with no pain. I highly recommend him and would go not wh... read more
