I got the most considerate and well thought out care from Dr Wallach and his team. I honestly thought I would end up crippled before I saw him. We went through a methodical and careful approach to my problem before electing surgery, but the results are perfect. I am pain free and able to function once again. Thanks to all!

When I first went to see Dr. Wallach I was suffering from sciatic pain. Following a series of X-rays, CT scans and an MRI, Dr. Wallach said that ultimately the solution would be surgery. I was not keen on back surgery so he said we could try Physical Therapy and Epidural treatments, which we did. The first epidural didn’t do much, but we tried that again and it worked, for about three months. In December 2023, I had C-3, and C-4 fusion as a 73 year old. Pain existed for 1.5 years and continued to worsen with pain and numbness. Dr Wallach explained the options and started me on physical therapy. When several options did not provide permanent relief, he recommended posterior surgery. Four months out from spinal surgery and living the surgery recovery dream. Immediately after surgery my pain was gone. My surgery and post-surgical experience has been exceptional. The pre-op was thoroughly explained to me and went perfectly as were the post-surgical requirements. I followed the post-op procedures to the letter, including going plenty of walking, and the pain subsided as quickly as could be expected (I got off the pain neds before the script was completed and driving in less than 3 weeks).
