I have genetic degenerative disc disease as well as spinal stenosis. I saw several doctors who all diagnosed chronic leg, arm and back pain as Fibromyalgia. Quite by accident I made my way to see Dr. Wallach and I am eternally grateful for that event. I have had two cervical fusion surgeries with him. I expect due to being genetically predisposed to spine issued, I will be experiencing additional surgery at some point. I don't care where I am when the time comes, I will be back to see Dr. Wallach. His staff, those at the hos... read more

Dr. Wallach is an excellent orthopedic surgeon. He listened to me and gave me all of my options along with pros and cons. He is very thorough and compassionate. He made sure I was comfortable with my surgical plan and was happy to answer all my questions. I am extremely pleased with the outcome of the surgery he performed. I truly couldn’t speak more highly of his manner and skills. He is a top notch surgeon and I recommend him without reservation.
I could barely walk. Pain in leg joints and hips were debilitating. Dr. Wallach methodicaly diagnosed my problem over a few months. He decided on spine surgery to re-align two vertebra. Holy cow! I still cannot believe it. Dr. Wallach repaired the problem and now I am 100% back to normal. Thank you Dr. Wallach.
I have been under Dr. Wallach's Care for over 5 years, culminating in multiple, vertebral fusion surgery in early May of 2021. He has been a trusted and skilled professional and confidant every step of the way. He dedicated over years to helping me maintain an active life-style without surgery and when the time came for surgery, he is the only one I would consider. 8 weeks post-surgery, I already feel the best I have in a decade and am already returning to workouts and activity. I am 53 years old and have seen a lot of docto... read more
I have been working with Dr. Wallach for almost a year. When I started with him, we tried the non surgical approach. It worked for a while, but then we discovered that I needed surgery. I was skeptical of his approach because he did the surgery through the front instead of my back. It turns out that was the best thing. The pain after surgery was very minimal. I didn't need any strong medication. Also one of the nurses at that hospital shared with me that he does not operate unless he feels that he can help you, he is not out... read more
I have seen Dr. Wallach intermittently for over 10 years. He definitely did not "rush to surgery." When it became apparent that surgery was now my best option, he explained everything in great detail and gave me options. I always felt part of the team in making decisions. He was clear in his explanations was well as warm and reassuring in his approach. I appreciated his sense of humor too. He performed spinal fusion (L4-S1) on me and my results have been wonderful. I, at 78, am pain free 2 months post surgery and moving towa... read more
I can absolutely recommend Dr. Wallach without reservation. I had hamstring pain for 4 years before seeing him. In spite of having no back pain whatsoever, Dr. Wallach correctly diagnosed spinal stenosis. Dr. Wallach explained everything to me in great detail. He was cautious about recommending surgery until I was ready for it. The first thing I did when I woke up after surgery was to move my legs and, miraculously the pain was gone. After a year, I have had no pain and can do more than everything I did prior to surgery. Dr.... read more
For 6 months I suffered excruciating pain in my hamstrings to the bottoms of my feet. I had several months of physical therapy but the pain still persisted in both legs. I finally got up the courage to call Dr. Wallach, who came highly recommended, to see what my options would be because I could no longer deal with the pain. An MRI and several X-rays revealed my only option was surgery. Dr. Wallach performed surgery on February 18, 2021, and I wish I had seen him 6 months earlier. He literally gave me my life back. I can’t s... read more
I spent a year trying to postpone back surgery. Weekly PT, daily pain and terrible quality of life. When I maxed out on my injections I knew i needed surgery for L4/L5. Therefore I interviewed 3 surgeons and chose Dr Wallach. I can tell you it was the best decision of my life. Two days following my laminectomy with fusion in July 2019, I was released from the hospital and the next day I began walking in my neighborhood. Within 2 weeks i was pain was controllable without meds and began getting my life back. I worked hard to s... read more
