We recently purchased a new home, and the Boiler was not working. The Sellers contacted the company who installed it (about 3 years ago). Cooper Heating and Cooling. One of the pipes had been leaking a very long time and had built up a very thick pile of rust (years worth). They charged the Sellers $759 to "replace the defective wiring and to repair the leaking joint" and would not honor the warranty. They cut two very large sections of sheetrock out, and said "we don't repair sheetrock." They left a jumble of exposed wiring... read more
The dispatcher fee is $120 but what was not told I. The phone when I booked that they charge you $99 more for hour that it can take the technician to find the problem. A day ago I had to pay $320 just for the technician to tell me the problem . And even if I accepted to do the services with them they would not waive this cost. Since just for parts he gave me an estimated of $1580 plus $99 hour to install we didn’t proceed with them and for sure we don’t recommend their services to anyone.
They lied on the phone about their service fees. They told me one thing then called back and told me they could not honor the costs because tech would not do it without charging me a $189 trip charge. They are not good honest people.
Terrible AC install experience. Gave up on trying to get them to fix it after 7-10 post install follow up appointments.
They are completely unreliable. I have spent the day waiting for them to show up twice, paid to put my dog in day care so they could have space to do their job. I called to tell them I'm mowing the lawn if I miss their call to find out that they don't even have me on the schedule. This is the 2nd time this has happened. They are only good at band aid solutions and have absolutely no desire to actually help their customers.
