They did an okay install — the installers were pleasant. Unfortunately, they only gave partial paperwork at departure and our warranty information at Lennox may be incomplete and past due, giving us a 5 year warranty instead of 10. Instead of trying to help, the woman at Cooper was more interested in placing blame. We were dealing with a major medical issue at the time and the last thing on my mind was a missing serial number. Steer clear of Lennox and Cooper.
Five years ago we spent $8500 for a new furnace with Cooper. After 3 visits from technicians over the years, it is still not working well and our house is cold when the temperature drops into the teens. I am tired of paying them to fix what was their mis-installation, so I’m going to have to go to another company to figure out what Cooper did wrong. Even now our furnace is struggling to get our house above 60 degrees. I can’t recommend Cooper.
I tried to use a coupon that is posted on facebook and the website and I was told it was an old coupon even though it says it expires 6/30/2018. Also when I asked about my warranty I was told its up to the discretion of the person who inspects our unit. If there is no set policy, how do I know I can trust them (especially when they won't honor their own coupon). I think there should be a set standard for all customers because "discretion" can lead to who knows what. I guess I will have to find someone else to use...
RecommendedGreat customer service when I was buying a new heating system but terrible service when I just need maintenance. Waited 5 weeks for my appointment and then the morning of a lady called to reschedule. It’s unfortunate that the service person was having an emergency but they ‘couldn’t’ work me in again until another three weeks. Techs were prompt, personable and very efficient. Will use in the future.
Always prompt, efficient and 100% open and honest. Cooper installed this unit (HVAC) and has maintained it from the start. We've gotten 10 years of flawless performance and every service call has been a snap. Their techs are all outstanding. I can recommend Cooper without any reservation, they've kept our home comfortable for a decade and likely for the foreseeable future! Thanks folks! Hat tip to Danny Horner who did our inspection!
