Terrible usiness practices. Got letter saying to adjust power usage from house going to charge 1.5 times more from hours 2-7, the only time most people actually use power. Really this is is just a utility that's taking advantage of people. Shame on them.

After moving and closing my account on Feb 28, I called consumers on March 16 to ensure my final bill/refund would be sent to my new forwarding address, which is different from my main residence since I am a travel nurse. Whomever I spoke with on that day assured me that my new forwarding address was on record, and my final statement would be sent there. Today on April 12 I still have not received my final statement, and both of the representatives whom I spoke with today claimed that even though they see the note on record ... read more

They charged me a single day for $15 when my coworker charged $0.3. I have been paying an average of $50-$60/mo and this month they billed $200. My coworker has been charged for ~$25/mo. This business is a scam because they have no way to quantify my energy usage correctly, when I stay outside of home 7 days a week and don't turn on the heater. Customer Support immediately denied the inaccuracy of the bill. Which is funny, last time I check, because I lived in 2 other states and my energy consumption is between $10 to $30, a... read more

Be very careful about budgetwise billing or auto withdraw. They adjust your amount whenever they choose to - barely giving any notification. This month - they decided to change my billing and withdraw date - no notice to me at all - and double payment out of my checking account. The billing notice I did receive says I missed a payment - I'm on their auto withdraw! Full records to show I have never missed a payment - their response? "I really do apologize for that. Is there anything else I can do for you today?" They say they... read more

Literally they only care about wealthy neighborhoods. Every year poor neighborhoods in Algoma, Greenville are slammed with outages because they refuse to take care of tree-growth on their lines... meanwhile millionaires in Ada have their growth consistently taken care of.

The business has an automated system that reports power outage resolve time, but keeps pushing it back further and further away till my freezer is defrosted and food spoiled. Can't talk to anyone to get a realistic time to get power restored. Have never been without power for so long.

Never had a problem before with them. But they just did maintenance on my property and I came home from grocery shopping to a gas leak in my home. I wasn't contacted that there was an issue and my cats were in my home breathing in natural gas for who knows how long. I could have gotten a notice to prepare for this issue. I came home to my sidewalk ripped apart and yard torn up. I should have gotten a notice.

Every month I attempt to pay my bill with their website. Every month the exact same thing happens. Even though I have a valid email and a saved password they denied me access. I try again and they lock me out of my account, then I have to wait a half hour on hold to call the 877 number. Then they reestablish my account, I pay the bill and the next month the entire cycle happens again. Every month the exact same thing happens!! When is this company going to get into the 21st century and GET AN APP to pay hassle-free?

Horrible experience. Had them out to install underground electrical service to a new dwelling. We marked out sewer line on ground and also told foreman where it was located and provided a sewer plan showing layout and placement. They dug and buried the new wire, 3 months later the plumber hooked up finish plumbing and the sewer line backed up. Spent $360 to get it snaked out and that didn’t work, so paid another $125 for a sewer camera and that showed the pipe busted. Had this traced, dug up and this damage was under wire la... read more
