Unbelievable! My husband and I have been paying into the Consumers Energy Appliance Protection Program for many years. Two years ago, our dryer stopped working around Christmas time. It was during Covid ( I will give them a break for that) but it took them weeks to come to fix it. When they finally arrived, they told us it was unrepairable so our appliance plan would not cover it. Last **** from Consumers Energy was for service dates: December 04/2021-January 05/2022. My usage according to that **** was **** Mcf, where as for the previous month was **** Mcf. The issue is that from December 12/2021-January 03/2022 I lowered the heat in my house by 9 degrees. and no stove/range or dryer was being used since my family was not home. So according to Consumers Energy I used more gas when the heat was lowered by 9 degrees and no cooking and dryer use!!!! When I called the reason I was given is that body heat... read more

I am extremely displeased with the Consumers energy sales representatives. When calling to transfer service I expressed at least ***** times that we already had internet and tv services and was not interested in hearing other opportunities. Towards the end of the call the representative mentioned that the transfer of service was complete and asked if she had my permission to set up the account. I gave my consent under the impression that they was referring to my consumers energy account. I found out three weeks later that th... read more

Absolute terrible service . If I could give 0 stars , I would .Power goes out on a regular basis and talking to customer service is a waste of time .I will be looking into putting in a windmill or solar panels and they can ********* from me .

First..rarely, if ever, have problems with meters being read. Always leave room for my garage door. Till today. When I mentioned it..oh. sorry And kept on walking. Rude. Rude. Rude! It's bad enough when health care "professionals " do this, and get mad at me for mentioning it. I work from home. And my significant other is ill. Get it together!??

Consumer energy have been scamming it's customers out of money. The rates have been increased at a ridiculous amount. Rates this summer have almost doubled for some people. This is an unfair rate increase and a scam.

After 5 days without power, loss of food and missed 2 days work. CE would only reimburse me $25.00. I asked for my last months bill to be expunged which would only cover 1 days wages nothing else, I was told unfortunately that's not something we do?? Not happy. I will give credit to all the line workers who worked hard to return our power. Kelly B

No power restoration for 1 block of1 small town for 40 hours despite promised 24 hours, now saying a week away! Not seen a single truck. How hard can it be? Have to assume we are a low priority and the bills and services paid for are bs.
