I would highly recommend Dr Ivie and his team. At 47 I discovered that I had a labral tear, bone spurs, and arthritis in my hip. Dr. Ivie took his time to discuss the pros/cons of various treatment options. Ultimately I decided to go with a total hip replacement. Dr. Ivie uses the anterior approach, which left me with no restrictions and I even went home the day of surgery. I would most definitely recommend Dr. Ivie to folks experiencing issues with their hip, whether its from injury or age.

Dr. Ivie is very personable and professional. He will sit down and talk to you, explains everything so that you understand what is going on, lets you ask any questions that you may have. He is not one of those doctors that are in an out within 5 minutes. His nurse and and nurse practitioner are also awesome two work with. The three of them make as awesome team. Have recommended Dr. Ivie several times already!!

I researched and interviewed surgeons before making my decision. Dr. Ivie was informative and understanding of my apprehension, taking the time to show me a hip model and explain the mechanism. I liked the Anterior approach explanation. His staff were all friendly, professional, knowledgeable, making several follow-up calls inquiring my progress. Its less than a month and I'm walking normal, pain free and almost scar free. I will always recommend Dr. Ivie and his staff for hip replacement.

Pleasant demeanor that eased my apprehension. Very professional and competent in making observations and advising, i.e., direct, straightforward, honest appraisal of my situation. He talked me through the x-ray of my problematic, arthritic left knee, discussed possible options without pressuring me, and made sure I understood I could contact him for knee injection or other help with knee. Support staff also courteous and accommodating. I feel very pleased with this first-time visit.

Truly enjoyed my experience with Dr. Ivie and Katie. All Dr. Ivie's team have been a pleasure dealing with. Had both my knees done and couldn't be happier. After years of bone on bone it is nice to walk without pain.

Dr. Ivie and staff are awesome. They were all amazingly helpful to me prior to me prior to surgery and after surgery. I had relief from my hip pain almost immediately. Within a week I already 80% less pain after labral repairs and some other things in my hip repaired. DEBIE

Outstanding doctor and surgeon. Dr. Ivie performed my (anterior) hip replacement, which was a complete success. After the first few days of normal recovery from surgery, I had NO pain in the hip joint, and regained mobility I had not had in years! His skill and experience as a surgeon is exceptional. He has his technique down-pat! My incision is less than 5" long. After normal, initial sensitivity, there have been no complications, infection, or pain. I've asked him to do my other hip!
