Three weeks after my hip replacement I began playing golf again. I was cautious but determined to play and at the same time exercise my new hip. It worked! I was stiff and sore afterwards but no pain in the hip. Dr. Ivie did a remarkable job and I highly recommend him.
Dr. Ivie is a direct, “get to the point”, no nonsense orthopedic surgeon who now has my complete confidence and admiration. My hip replacement surgery went without any issue at all and my (one month) recovery has been easier and much faster than I could have ever imagined. This recovery time has not only surprised me but also my physical therapist and other involved medical personnel. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Ivie for joint replacement.

I Was really concerned and scared going into my appt. due to the pain I’d been been having in my left knee. Once he came in, introduced himself , and started reviewing my MRI pictures with me, he put me totally at ease. He showed me where my problems were and what our action plan was. I have total confidence in him and know I’m in good hands. I highly recommend him. 5 Stars in my book. ??????????
Dr. Ivie solved my hip pain with a THR within a 4 week time frame. His day surgery team was very professional and on point. THe preparation and postop expectations were accurate. I am back to work 2.5 weeks after the surgery. Thank you!
Dr.Ivie and his entire team are just amazing. I had a total hip replacement 4 weeks ago and I feel great.His team was always just a phone call away , and answered my questions with such care. He went with a anterior approach, very minimal pain. A great doctor and Physical Therapy are key to a positive out come with a total hip replacement.
My wife and I both had hip replacements this year. It was an amazing experience. Our recovery was unbelievable! We had minimal pain and our original pain was gone immediately. Everyone involved with the process was amazing! Dr Ivie and his staff were wonderful! Extremely professional, explained EVERYTHING in terms we understood before, during the hospital stay and during follow up visits. We ALWAYS felt if we had questions or issues, he was just a phone call away. We HIGHLY recommend Dr Ivie!
