I couldn't be more frustrated with Orkin after just two months of service. 1) I didn't see a reduction in pest activity after two consecutive visits. 2) Both technicians didn't spray my basement as requested (I secretly watched one guy, and he didn't do it). 3) Both technicians were in a rush to leave, mentioning that they lived far from my residence. One serviceman asked that I call him later to ask questions. 4) Inspectors were hard to get in touch with. Calls and texts went unanswered. Customer service doesn't have access... read more

I had an appointment for an inspector to come to my home yesterday between 12 and 2:00. No one came out, no one called, no one emailed, no one attempted to reschedule. I was totally stood up!! I called them and was told since it was so late in the day, probably no one was coming. He didn't even attempt to reschedule! So I rearranged my schedule to wait and have this service done, which was a total waste of my day. I have never seen a large company so unprofessional!

Tired of getting 30day balance notice letters stating I haven't paid my bill, received before or just after getting the bill 3 weeks after service was done, which is paid within days of receipt. Company just states letter is electronically sent out....Guess they don't understand it is incorrect, insulting and can easily be changed on their end. About to stop using Orkin after 20 years as this is NOT customer service...sad but true.

I called and asked for help with what I thought were drain flies (confirmed later by another pest company). I spoke to Alison for over 15 minutes about how Orkin could definitely help me. How Orkin had invented an enzyme 15 years ago that would solve my problem. I booked an appointment on 7/10 for 7/14 between 12-2. I was told the person coming to my house would call 1/2 hour before they arrived. On 7/14 I waited until 2:00 and then called back. I have written emails to David B***** and Joseph F***********, Jr since June 17th of 2021. These gentlemen are the regional and local Orlando Orkin representatives. They have thus far refused to honor the contract clearly stipulating that my payment would be applied towards fumigation, and are blocking further email communication(s) from me. I was charged over two thousand dollars for drywood termite treatments that were completely ineffective. ORKIN DID A DISASTROUS JOB IN MY GARDEN. At the beginning of this year I decided to hire Orkin service for pest control because there were a lot of ants in my front garden and backyard. I was then informed that in addition to pest control Orkin offered a service which consisted of applying rubber mulch to my garden beds. Although it was expensive as it would cost $2,000 would have the advantage of preventing the growth of weeds.
