I would give NO STARS if possible. My son has been seeing Dr.Ning for a few months now. The issues with Dr.Ning started 1/15/24. We had an appt to get the Omnipod 5. At that time Dr.Ning stated that based on our insurance she was unsure if the insulin pump would be approved and that we would need to return to see her, if we were able to get it. We came from Brazil on a diplomatic mission to spend two years in Maryland. My son has TD1. I went to Dr Cong and she welcomed us very well. At first it is confusing because of the cultural difference. But overall, she respected our self-management decisions and took care of Miguel very well, guiding and directing him in his diabetes care. Soon we will return to Brazil and I cannot fail to recommend the doctor for her excellent work!
Dr. Ning tried to put my son on puberty blockers (many years ago) saying he will have stunted growth if we didn't. She said he would not grow taller than 5'5" if we didn't start the blockers immediately. After getting two more opinions, we decided against the blockers. He is now an adult and is over 5'8" which is about the same height as his dad.
