I had an appointment for 7:45 for an EEG. I finally went back at 9:20. I understand they were implementing a new computer system but it should have been done at night so that the flaws could've been fixed before their busiest time.

Very disappointed. Went by ambulance with severe back pain. At the initial entry into ER , I asked for my shoes and the "nurse " just chucked them at the other side of the bed. I had to fiddle with one to turn it over properly. I was then given 2 shots NONE that had been alcohol swabbed before the shot itself. I was poorly informed of "what they were by the nurse. I was told there was nothing that could be done and no xrays even since I WAS NOT A TRAUMA !!! So the nurse came in and discharged me then asked if I wanted a whee... read more

Just had my 8 year old daughter here it have her tonsils removed. EVERYONE in ambulatory surgery was great to work with (from the surgeon to the anesthesiologist to the nurses to the receptionist)!! They treated my daughter like she was their child. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

the only place that preaches and brags about privacy, has a bunch of gossips collecting your name and reason you are there THEN WRITING IT DOWN ON A LEGAL PAD SO THEY CAN TELL THEIR FRIENDS, WHO WAS AT THE HOSPITAL AND WHY... WAY TO PROTECT YOUR PATIENTS CONEMAUGH HEALTH SYSTEM.

This is the worst hospital to visit. I took my 5 month old daughter there because she hasn't went to the bathroom in 2 days, instead of getting her seen it was "have a seat in the waiting room and we'll get to you when we can" 45 minutes went by and I went up and ask how long it would be until my daughter would be seen and the nurse told me " well there's 8 people ahead of you and the longest someone has been sitting is 2 hours 55 minutes". This is probably the worst hospital I have ever dealt with. I could maybe understand one bad experience but I have had so many I can't count. My parents were admitted there several times and now my niece. They act put out when you have a question and they are afraid to leave the desk for fear someone will ask them to do something. I have been a nurse for over 40 years and I guess I am old school where the patient always come first and everyone is treated with kindness and respect. Been very sick. It wasn't busy when I got here. Been waiting almost 3 hours. It's freezing cold in the waiting room. I have a hoodie plus a blanket I ask for. What a joke. Had to get vitals rechecked because it's been so long. Are they that under staffed? No medstar or ambulances. Now they try this crap of not calling "Fast track", yes same thing they think people are to stupid to know they just run in a circle. I'm NOT going in there. DUKE this is worse since you took over. It will b Windber next time

I have never been in a hospital that disrespected veterans as much as Good Sam..thank you Amy, Terry and Mandy for letting me lay inwet clothes and covers for 4 hrs, then brought new stuff threw it down and made my own bed, was left on gernyfor hour half in halway was 2 hrs late with my medicine.. thank you.
