We were really not impressed with Valerie at this visit. She was condescending and the overall tone of the appointment was not what we would expect. While I know that it is her job to educate kids and parents, we really felt like she was way over the top and unrealistic in her suggestions. No, we won't have our son lay on a bed or on the bathroom floor to brush his teeth. At times she was so overly cheerful that it was obviously fake and hard to respond to. My son's appointment was for 330p. He was finally taken a little after 4p. We had checked in at 320p and was never told they were running behind.
Had to wait a long time for the dentist see the kids after the cleaning. We were there for an hour. Usually the dentist speaks to me (parent), but s/he was already gone when I was buzzed to come back. Kids were disappointed with the hygienist. She was kind but didn't converse with the kids as they have with staff in the past. Our visits are usually great and everyone does a great job. Something was off at this last visit.

The dentists barely interact with me when I bring my children in. Usually it's the dental assistant passing on what the dentist said. I would never let a physician examine my child and pass on information, why is it the expectation that a dentist shouldn't have to interact with parents. Similarly, parents not being able to be present during procedures is uncomfortable. I would never let a physician perform a small procedure on my child without my presence. The scheduling of orthodontics appointments has become very difficult.
My child was afraid of the dentist until we started going to Concord Pediatric Dentistry. Now she loves it. They are so patience and explain things in kids terms..Now she can't wait to go back
the dentist and the assistant were very nice and patient with my daughter. She had a very successful visit which made her very happy and proud of herself.
The hygienist was great with my daughter and explained her dental health very well. His recommendations for further care were explained well. At the end of the visit, she got a "prize" which she was very excited about. It will make coming back for future appointments easy.
