Had wonderful experience with Comfort
We have used this company for several years, until now. Annual service completed 2 weeks ago, technicians marked everything as "passing". The day after annual service, upstairs unit freezes over. We ensure everything in our control is completed, outside coils are clean, all air filters are new and clean, and still freezes overs, day after day. My wife calls Comfort First and then we are told that the technicians told us "the P-traps were bad" and the "blower cap" was bad each time they had visited our home, and that "we didn... read more

Be extremely careful if these people come to your house, especially if they were sent by a home warranty company. They will attempt to charge you ridiculous prices for things that are not covered. In my case my AC broke, the part and labor were covered, but the coolant was not. This company quoted me over $800 for refrigerant that anyone can buy for less than $30. They also refused to simply replace the part and let me purchase the refrigerant myself. They are simply price gouging because they know that people will pay anyth... read more
Joel and his team installed a generator for my Mom in Durham last week and did a great job. From the estimate to the finished install - communication was wonderful, we were kept up to date without having to call them. Joel took the time to educate us on generator choices and on the operation of the generator we chose. We feel so relieved that Mom has a reliable generator and a responsive team that stands behind their work. I highly recommend Comfort First Heating and Cooling!!
