In 1996, a group of entrepreneurs and restaurateurs put together their combined total of over sixty years of successful restaurant and real estate experience to develop a concept that later became Colton's Steak House & Grill. Their vision was to open a steak house anyone could walk into and feel at home, have fun, relax, eat delicious food, and enjoy excellent service in an atmosphere with the feel of the "American West."

Our waitress was just great, very friendly, and checked with us often. We tipped her well as she was very deserving. As for the food, that was another story. I ordered a full rack of ribs, supposedly smoked. They were undercooked, very tasteless, and must have walked through the smoker on stilts. I have no desire to return, as I've rarely had a good experience at Colton's in Farmington. This past Sunday was the last straw. I would recommend firing the kitchen staff and hire some cooks. I'm sorry, but it was just plain bad.
Food was great and our waitress was very sweet! The hostess...not so much!!
