RecommendedEven from northern Colorado Springs, it is much closer than Denver. Then you add the horrible security lines at Denver, the long distances for reasonable parking, the train (which if it breaks down you are stuck), and in the winter the issues are much more at Denver than COS. I love COS and choose to fly out of it any time if there is an option. Even if the ticket is a little more or there is a connection through Denver it is better and oftentimes cheaper than Denver when you add all it all up (time, parking, gas, etc.)
