RecommendedSo close to home, just need cheaper prices
The Airport is nice and clean with helpful personnel. The Airport is small offering limited Airline Services to choose from. Some of the AA Flight employees working in the Airport are very incompetent (Carrie) in particular. It's convenient to have a small Airport nearby but without better Customer Relations and more flight options I can't recommend.

This airport is the nicest I’ve been in! It’s so easy to get in and out of.
I love the size and quickness of this airport, I however was flying with my child and was very disappointed in their music choice. “ Sex and Candy” was not something I wanted to deal with at 7 am 🙄.
You can usually get through TSA in under 3 minutes. Flight are often cheaper. Denver airport isn't much farther for me so I usually compare prices. Often flying out of Springs is about 70 dollars cheaper than flying out of Denver even though you always layover in Denver.
I find it amazing that this airport wants to be equivalent to others but they can’t even sell coke and Pepsi products. What a joke of an airport. First I found it crazy that their sodas were the most expensive in all my travels but now they can’t sell competitors products. SAD SAD SAD!!!!!
This was my first time ever flying from COS. I was happy with the size, ease, quickness. But NEVER fly United out of here. Flight after flight delayed long periods yesterday and today (supposedly mechanical), and like many others, I'll spend most of a day here and miss connections. It's not THAT comfortable
Great, easy check in and tsa for hockey sticks and hockey bag. A quick 15 minute drive to the airport! Thanks Colorado Springs Airport and Frontier airline!
Although the CS airport is very nice, we have had flights cancelled from AA 3 times already. The rumor is that there aren't enough passengers for AA to justify a flight so they cancel it. As I write we have been stuck in Dallas since 11:30 and the new flight does not leave until 6:00. Never had that trouble flying from Denver.

There is no truth whatsoever to the rumor you mention and COS was recently noted in an article as the #3 airport in the country for "crowded", or full flights - https://www.bizjournals.com/denver/news/2019/12/20/dia-crowded-airport.html. Again, sorry you've had bad luck on your flights and we wish you better fortunes in the future.
