Very nice cottage and lots to do in this area near Durham. Friendly neighbours too!
We recently stayed in the cottage for two weeks and could not recommend it enough to anyone considering it. Ideally situated, Cornsay is not far from Lanchester, Esh Winning, Langley Park and Durham City. With beautiful countryside all around, theres something for everyone a stones throw away. A children's play park is also situated right across the road. An outstanding, beautifully renovated, deceptively spacious cottage, set in a gorgeous rural location. The cottage is ideally located, the surrounding countryside is beautiful, and the cathedral city of Durham is only a short distance away. The cottage itself was immaculate, extremely clean, and exceptionally well presented, all the mod cons you could possibly wish for, plus the additional cosy touches much warranted in a characterful cottage of this very high standard. Wonderful holiday cottage in this beautiful rural village. Really comfortable, top quality place to stay with easy access to Durham, Beamish etc. Fabulous pub rolling distance from the cottage. Highly recommended 👍
