Very good place
Spent 3 nights in the Smugglers Lodge. First time visiting and it was recommended to us. Beautifully decorated & love the layout. The bedroom had a King size bed which was so comfortable. The bathroom was huge & loved how it was laid out. Can't believe there was a sauna in the bathroom too. Amazing. The kitchen & living area was lovely. There is also a jacousie outside. The location is brilliant, easy to get to St Abbs Head Nature Reserve, Eyemouth, Seahouses, Berwick upon Tweed & lots of restaurants, pubs, convenience store... read more
Absolutely gorgeous location. Stayed for the week and would love to come back. The area is extremely well maintained. Someone comes every day to check and maintain the hot tub. The lodge itself was very clean, tidy and cosy. Super quiet area and very very comfy bed. A binder in the lodge has nearby scenic places to visit and food to grab. Loved sitting in the sun and just watching the little robots cut the grass. Could not recommend this place enough. The scenery nearby is breathtaking. Just a fantastic place for a getaway.
The only problem was the hob we couldn't get it work and know instructions available, but we coped bit would have benefited for guidelines how work the hob. Apart from that the lodge was excellent and will definitely book again
Fabulous lodge in beautiful surroundings. Quiet and very private. Easy walk to shop, pub, butchers, beach.
