MAJOR ANT ISSUE, NOT STATED ANYWHERE UNTIL YOU ARRIVE !! I have used this place for years and would NEVER use again, absolute disgrace the way our issue was dealt with, firstly the ants were everywhere, all over our baby's steriliser all over the kitchen sides on the tv in the bedrooms, I have videos to show all of this. The owners are extremely unprofessional, we experienced ants on our stay... And we're even laughed at when we asked to be compensated as we also didn't even have room too put a small cot in either of the bedrooms too settle our 7 month old was told when on holiday kids stay up and sack routine... Having too put this review back on as somehow my old one was deleted. I have proof of stay and conditions stay clear away of this place the owners do not care for their costumers
We stay here several times and year, and have done since 2022. It truly is our home away from home. Lodge 17 is our favourite, but this time we stayed in lodge 20 and it was just as perfect. Spotlessly clean, no maintenance issues, hot tub perfect. Everything worked just as it should. All the staff we’ve encountered have never been anything but cheerful and polite, nothing is ever too much and should issues arise, they go above and beyond to sort it out. Lovely place. Clean lodge. Staff brilliant. On site cafe come bar. Absolutely lovely staff. The lodges need some TLC But they are in the process of doing this to their older lodge's so can't wait to . return.
