My son is still in the hospital he was born premie...that is very good hospital and im happy i came here...they take good care of patients...dr asumugha is my obygyn....great job he delivered all my kids...
With 3 children who have been hospitalized once each for different reasons within the past 11 years, I can honestly say I would never go to another place. Our recent stay in pediatrics, and during the Easter holiday when people want to be with family, was very pleasant. Nurses and staff love their jobs as it showed in their service. General Surgery staff was wonderful. Floor 5. My operation went great. The anesthesiologist and team were very understanding of my anxiety due to never having surgery before. The pre-op staff were very thorough. I felt safe having surgery here!
My overall experience was good. The only complaint is have is when out of nowhere the nurse came to the room and said they were transferring my grandson to another room. She said that they had more kids coming in and they needed to put kids with similar symptoms together. The other mom had a cot to sleep on, whereas I had to try and angle the chair sideways because there is not enough room to let it out properly by the door. Well if you have to go to the hospital and be sick this place is it . Yhey have the best staff with the best doctors available. This was my first choice, thanks to the staff and doctors.
I gave birth to my baby girl here. I loved it more than the medical center because there are less students around and I actually had my doctor (Dr. Choy) and not a resident deliver my baby. I am a petite woman and gave birth to a 22 inch long and 8 lb 10 ounce baby without any tearing or lacerations! Amazing! EVERY single one of my nurses was very attending, considerate, helpful and seemed generally concerned about my well being. My son had a scheduled sedated MRI here and the staff was all very kind and helped my son with his anxiety and understood that their interaction with him helped us as well. My only suggestion is to have someone else to help the registration. The lady was backed up a little bit and her only other help was not entirely a morning person, considering I was also grumpy I think it went overall good.
ER staff was quick and friendly. ICU staff was great. Peritoneal Tech is just awesome. 6th floor staff in Heat Tower are so sweet and friendly. Thank you for taking good care of my husband. Hands Down to Everyone! Now just waiting to see when we can go home.
My 13 month old was admitted into the pediatric ward for 3 days and 2 nights. I loved all of his nurses. They were all very sweet to him, my husband, my mother, and I. They answered all one million of our questions without a problem and were always ready to help however they could. I also loved the play room they have. It was perfect for keeping my little guy entertained. This is my second time here and I am so glad our experience this time was just as good as the first.
