My daughter ( 1 year old) came in with a foot infection needing minor surgery and days of antibiotics. The entire staff, esp the nurses in the PICU, were incredible kind and caring. The NURSES where so sweet to my 1 year old who had no idea why she was there and didn't understand why she was being poked with needles. They did everything they could to make her feel safe. I'm extremely grateful for their care.
So today instead of our 9 yr old enjoying her mermaid birthday party. We spent almost 5 hrs in the Pediatric part of the ER. We went in thinking Shelbi had a case of appendicitis. Well after pain meds and something to stop her nausea that was ruled out. Since her party had to be postponed the staff at the hospital brought her balloons and a gift. I had a lengthy stay in February 2013. The nursing staff was the best! Great hospital!
Emergency room staff do not understand privacy, are rude, and unsympathetic. Get random out of network doctor bills when consulted with insurance that they were in fact in network. Be mindful this was around labor day 2016
I just want to take a second and tell y’all how impressed I am with Clear Lake Regional Medical Center. I don’t hop on FB and just share my good experiences very often. So you know they impressed me! Logan’s temp spiked to 104.1 early this morning. With a cold bath, ice and medicine we got it down to 103.3. The last food and fluids he kept down was Tuesday mornings breakfast. This is the second time I go to the ER with my newborn baby, the doctors and nurses in the ER pediatric unit are awesome they always treat my baby great they treat her fast and know what she he right away. It's worth the drive here because I refuse to go to bayshore it's horrible. I will continue to come here for any family emergency.
