RecommendedJust because it was such a good experience I wanted to say that in ALL of the hospitals mom has been in, Clear Lake Regional Medical Center is pretty stellar! From infection control/hand hygiene (nurses and doctors) to customer service, it was the best experience. The nurses were fantastic (Danielle and Dusty), they actually provided education and if you are in the medical field, you know that’s lacking in adult care. Thieves & Liars.. My Uncle's wallet was stolen & all I have received is the run around. Since I've had 0 call backs after numerous phone calls and numerous promises of a call back from security, Mark, and a meeting with the CEO, I will proceed with all news channels and so forth. Please do not trust this hospital as I would hate this to happen to another family's loved one. Stealing someone's personal bongings while they are in surgery is despicable. Gave me great care. I do recommend this hospital.
Everyone was very thoughtful and quick to respond to my care. Everything was comfortable to include the bed in ER. I was dreading a hard stretcher but no..didn’t happen. Quick to get things done and had a quick discharge. I’m glad we chose to go to Clear Lake Hospital!

I was treated HORRIBLY. Er staff was good. Overnight staff on the 3rd floor were good. But the daytime staff whom left me waiting 5.5 hours for a New IV, or to go to bathroom pisses me off. Talked to me like i wasn't important and wanted to have a debate. Im the patient, should of been treated better!!! Doc said my BP was ok at 76/53 and that nobody else would see me cause i didn't have ins.... I was admitted for one thing, and treated for another....
Beware of financial scams. Clear Lake Medical Center will cook up bills after you pay for their services in full and send credit collectors after you. They did this to me a few years back and now again. This time the new (additional) bill arrived 15 months after the service and payment-in-full date. Very creative.
