I recommend EVERYONE to avoid considering a purchase with ******* homes, Decatur, Al. I walked in their office on Dec3,2021 and explained that my lease will be up at the end of February. Next Mary **** begin to say this process will be perfect because it only takes 4-6 weeks. All lies. I submitted my app and started the process. Needless to say, Mary **** asked for my 1,000 deposit in December and quoted me at one price but in Jan had me come in her office and had me to sign a sales agreement which by now the price has incre... read more

I do not recommend my dog to get a house from them because the home they built for me is nothing. I am having so many issues with that home. Their people in Pocomoke Maryland office don't give a rats butt about it because they already got paid for it. Anything their own employee is not even considering buying a home from them he looking for other builder or company to build his. My home needs to be built over seriously. I absolutely do not recommend Clayton Homes of Anniston AL. They have the worst customer service, and the "consultant" Joe is the WORST! I paid the $1,000 deposit 2/12/2022 and as of 4/1 still no loan completion. Joe insists on being in the middle of the talks with VMF "the bank" and he talks in circles. He can't keep his story telling straight. We jumped through all of the hoops requested by the "bank", even though we could purchase the unit outright we wanted to just do a home only loan instead of using savings. Joe wanted... read more

Once the one year warranty is up, you are of no concern to Clayton Homes. I've tried to call them, and email them for informational purposes only about the home build and various paperwork that has been lost or misplaced. The gals that answer the calls are very snippy on the phone and keep repeating over and over "you do know your warranty has expired and you cannot make any claims". Yeah, I get that. I just need INFORMATION. They treat you as though your looking for some kind of payday or cash windfall. Just asking question... read more

Wholesale manufacture homes in Staton ,Ca. I have purchase a home in the past with the company and had great service. I decided to use them on my second home and everyhing was going fine until there installer showed up and has been one nightmare after another.Promised the world and would be piece of cake . House sat for appr. 3 months before they even started to put home together and made one excuse after another if you can even get them to answer phone. Too long to list complaints against bellefontaine oh Clayton homes! I reused concrete slab foundation of old modular that was removed, reused well, septic, and electric and paid existing loan on property approx. $21,000. Told Justin I was not paying 100,000 for a red tag sale home of 59,900! His starting est was 120,000. I told him no way on that! I was charged 8,000 to haul home from Tennessee when he stated it would go to bellefontaine. I asked to see home before coming to my property. Got home work and it was in my yard! ... read more

All items were addressed last year and the service teams will not be completing any further work.

NEVER do business with Clayton Homes Richmond KY!!! I hate I had to even give them one star. We have been lied to from day one...back in March 2021!! We still are not in our home after being told the quickest way was to go thru Vanderbilt so their contractors could get the money and start on our digging quicker than going through our mortgage broker who required inspections. They drug our $250K custom built home up the side of another persons property tearing down fences on property that was not even ours without permission.... read more

If you want home set up in a timely manner DO NOT USE CLAYTON HOMES TAZEWELL VA.they hire sub par contractors to put in home .set up taking forever due to contractors not showing up before noon and then only one or two days a week .they don't work on pleasant days .come on bad weather days and leave within hr of arrival stating bad weather for cause .excuse after excuse for not getting job done .on top of sub par contractors the quality of home is very bad .nail holes on all the trim ,cabinets crooked,fixtures falling out ar... read more

I will never do business or refer anybody to do business with this place. I had to contact them in reference to some dead falling trees on property that they bought next to mine and the woman that answered the phone was so rude and unprofessional I could have jumped through the phone and ripped her head off. She dismissed everything I said she laughed at me and was just downright rude. I don't know how this place even stays in business this is how they treat people.
