Horrible..workers smoking glass pipes while at our house working ..brand new top of the line country air 2021..full of mold in house under house because shower leaking and roof leaking they never fixed any issues only made them worse..office staff dont respond corporate doesnt care

If I could go lower than a 1 I would have. They promised us quality materials and we got the lowest of the low. Note we have only lived in the house for 3 years and stuff started falling apart after a year. The kitchen drawers fell apart had to fix them multiple times. The carpet is paper thin and is missing in some places just wear and tear. The paint on the house just comes off with the slightest bit of rubbing so cleaning the walls is impossible. Quick to take our money, very slow to give it back. My husband and I looked at Clayton homes and liked what we saw. Their homes were very nice. We filled out the forms to get a mortgage and were accepted by one of the mortgage companies that work with them. As part of the process of holding the home we wanted we placed $1000 down. We purchased a Clayton home in 2018 and had nothing but a great experience with Clayton homes. For our home everything went like clockwork. We have had zero problems with the company and our lovely home that we very much enjoy. The weather was wet and muddy when they delivered, the delivery truck got stuck in the mud but were able to pull out of it. Weather is not something that anyone has control of.

Close on my home on November 2021. Delivered in January 2022. Ground was very muddy and wet from all the rain we had had. The movers got stuck moving it in. Came out the next day to set it up but its in the wrong spot. Trash was left all over the ground from work they did. Front steps were very wobbly and unsteady. They dug trenches in the ground to hook up water lines and left them un covered for 6 months. Main water line into house was not hooked up. Had an insurance claim. Adjuster told me the kitchen window was NOT installed properly. I've already contacted Clayton homes and they told me it's not their problem anymore. The 1 year warranty has expired. Then if it wasn't installed right?? It's my problem. I'd never buy another home from this company anymore. Fought with them for months and it's a 2020 home. I'd give 0 stars if I could. They wouldn't even send out their guy to look at it. Automatically told me "it's not our problem"

If I could I would provide "Zero" star. Two Clayton Homes one in Lancaster, SC and one in Albemarle, NC have at last minute cancelled agreement to sell a home. One took nearly 4 months to assist me to the degree of nearly closing on agreement and the second one Albemarle, switched my model in the final agreement without telling me and I caught it and because I caught it, they are now refusing to sell me a home. I PURCHASED A HOME WITH CLAYTON, I RECEIVED MY HOME AND HAVE HAD NOTHING BUT ISSUES AND I HAVE TO KEEP CALLING AND ASKING FOR A PROPER RESOLUTION IN THE SHOTTY WORK THAT WAS DONE STILL DON'THAVE A DOOR AND THE REPAIRS ARE WORST THAN BEFORE AND THEY DON'T CARE.
