Beyond the worst experience I have ever had. I will never deal with Oakwood homes of Asheville again!!! The salesperson, and manager Jamie do nothing but lie and speak to the customers like they are stupid. We closed on our home in December 2021 and it is now May 22nd and we are having to complete everything in order to get the inspection done. If I could give this company 0 stars I would. The entire process was a nightmare. We had an entire acre of land and they chose to put the house literally 10 feet from the road. They cut into the land in such a way that when I open my front door I am 5 feet from a 10 foot wall of dirt and 10 feet away from the road. They put down grass seed and straw but of course it all washed away. I have tried multiple ways to get anything to grow on this 10 feet high wall of dirt and it all washes away. Unfortunately after trying for a week or so we found out that it was in a different state and we were not allowed to transfer applications. I brought my mobile home in April 2021 and when we moved in we walk through it with two different people and told them there is a weak spot in the kitchen and they have not fix it yet. My heating and air unit was leaking two days before the warranty ran out and I called to find out that the warranty started when the mobile home was set up in March, this was not told to me. The worst experience ever at the Southern Homes of Statesboro lot in Statesboro, GA . The owner doesn't care who hires even his Biker Buddy **** who swills beer together a few nights a week. This company derserves no stars . I purchased a 2020 farmhouse on 6/20 & still to this day the home isn't finished. The walls were not sealed, meaning you could see in the next room, sinks in the bathrooms where placed crooked, ceilings had cracks, kitchen had so many issues, doors leaked & not placed on correctly, but most importantly the outside. if i could give this business a 0 I would. Your Conway Arkansas location is absolute ****** My husband and I purchased out home almost a year ago, and we have has nothing but issues out of it. Our current issue is that our frame is crowning. Yup that's not very safe. they tell us it a manufacture error and they also keep telling us that they will send someone out there and no one ever shows imagine that.
