I recently had the opportunity to work with Clayton Homes in Lacey in an attempt to purchase a mfg home. Specifically, I worked with Joseph ******. Unfortunately, the sale did not come to fruition due to unforeseen circumstances. However, Joseph and Clayton staff were always transparent, helpful and very knowledgeable. They were understanding of my situation and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Do not buy anything from Clayton Homes. Do not sign an arbitration agreement with them because they have it written so that they wont finish your house and then there is almost nothing you can do about it. We have been trying to get them to finish our house for the last two years which is not aligned properly (horz./vert.), roof is damaged, they never fixed the drywall, the tiles look like a blind man had done it, bent frame, flooring is up, missing molding, doors swing the wrong way etc. We have an attorney however because ... read more

These concerns were resolved through our corporate office as well as the state, and all matters were closed after a re-inspection of the home determined all has been corrected and home now meets HUD and State code compliance.

Paid CASH for a new home in 2020. Had in the contract that they would wrap our old doublewide and move it to the side. They didn't do it. Had another company come move it. Clayton won't give me the money back for it. Clayton is still saying they moved but they didn't. They don't mind stealing your money and not thinking twice about it. Even though I have proof that another company moved it. DON'T BUY FROM THEM! Still having some problems with stuff that they didn't want to fix either.

The set-up contractor confirmed that the home was moved to the side of the property as agreed. Any further movement of the home would have been your responsibility. This is the final determination.

I would never recommend purchasing a manufactured home from Clayton Homes. The service has been a joke. This whole home buying process has been a huge headache and pain in the ass of a process. They sent us the wrong manufacturer home filed on paperwork which came with the wrong bathroom that we originally signed up for, The wrong appliances and they tried to say it was an “up grade!” After being settled in theirs a lot of inconsistencies with the temperature of the water, the water pressure and the HVAC. I paid a7000 dollars deposit on a 2023 mobile home with Clayton Homes in Dublin Ga and in March and signed a contract on May of2023 with a promise of delivery within a couple of weeks that turned into 9 months still no delivery so I moved on to other prospects and now Clayton wants to keep my 7000 dollars because they didn’t follow through on their end it’s a scam I am not the only one check The BBB before dealing with anyone please ????

Clayton Homes on Clinton Highway are the worst. Do not buy a home from them. You will regret it!! Bryan, the salesman is a j*** and all he cares about is making a big profit. I would give 0 stars if I could.

Clayton homes lies to you and puts you off with excuse after excuse. Bought a 2023 model home and havent had nothing but trouble with it since the day they set it. Floor problems, electrical problems, molding problems, ceiling problems. Ordered it in Feb and got it in july and for it to be a brand new home it is a piece of junk and there are a couple members of staff in leesburg ga cares more about partying than fixing my problems

The trailer they delivered UNFINISHED in 2017 has still seen NO repairs though HUD established in 2019 they didn’t finish construction, the manufacturer, mortgage company and insurance companies are under the same umbrella so it was deemed consequential damage, mold is growing inside so I can no longer live there nor pay for two separate houses they have started foreclosure since they submitted a second loan application without me to get the land as collateral it makes sense they were purposely delivering a product other tha... read more
