I have been in contact with a guy by the name Big Steve. I have waited about a week for videos of the models that would fit my budget. He also ways says stuff like God bless you but doesn't follow through. Other Clayton homes dealers have told me what he's promised is bait and switch tactics, maybe that's why he hasn't followed through with sending videos. I bought a clayton home brand new and used insurance paid all off 1- 1/2 years ago first had issues with doors after clayton fixed front door 2 x they then replaced still bad back door replaced still leaks,siding redid 2x then replaced still bad, floor started bubbling they fix and when they fixed counter they cut matching trim to wide on left you can actually see and feel overlap its terrible everytime they came to fix something something worse became of it . when i called said they didnt have good workers because of covid.... read more

Bought a brand new clayton satisfaction , and it's the shoddiest built junk you could imagine , front door you can see light through the top , cabinetry is cheap and not screwed together so the drawer was falling out trim not cut right and puckered , and then staples holding wallboard looked like a blind man did it to where trim didn't cover staples , interior doors not level , wall behind sink looked like they used scraps and piece milled , we bought a new house to retire in so that we wouldn't have to work on it all the ti... read more

We purchased our Bougee XL in 2020. Had it delivered and moved in Feb 2021. It is built very poorly. Poor craftsmanship all around. Several drawers falling off the tracks. I've repaired most but it's constantly happening. Master bath tile shower- the tiles popped loose. Drains in the tub not mounted low enough for water to drain completely. The door to the air return is built in a way you can't replace the air filter with out bending it. Clayton needs to take pride in their work or get better. This place is absolutly terrible when it comes to their construction contractor. I would not have him build my dog a house because he would not mess it up. Their construction contractor put in our septic tank for the house. When it rained heavly in our area it burst up threw the ground. And now we have only lived in the house for 4 days and the septic tank is full. They are a ******company and they have a even more ******construction contractor.

My purchased home was set up and move in ready on 12/14/2023. We reported issues one the initial inspection of the home that are not fixed 13 months later. I called corporate and opened a case ticket in October 2023 with a list of items needing to be repaired. On December 14th a gentlemen came out and fixed all but 5 items, he stated that due to the issues being on an open case ticket that Clayton would have to honor the repairs. I closed 8/17/23 on a property with a septic tank. 9/17/23 I call for an update and the person I speak to has no clue I had a septic on the land I purchased. Long story short, nothing had been done between 8/17 - 9/17 until I called. Then I finally got the document to sign to start pulling permits. Got a good price on Rio. Product is substandard. I've had issues with roof... floors...water pipes...and the list continues. Never again!!!!!!
