To whom it may concern. I visited the Emergency Room at Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center Sunday June 4th for a kidney stone. Background: I was experiencing pain beginning about 0900 on Saturday morning while golfing. I have been with the VA since 2011.The care I recieved then impressed me very much...as time has passed, my care cost has went up, my medical care has decreased, and I still deal with the same issues. I truly feel that I am one of those patience that has been turned out to pasture !

My brother is in the medical center, I feel he is getting great care. The staff is taking very good care of him. They are running all the test need before discharge. His room is very clean. I am happy he has these services. He was in the Army for 16 years.

The parking is really bad, forcing veterans to walk very long distances just to get into the building. The parking lot is taken up by valet parking, right in the front area. My veteran doesn't trust anyone to get in his car, so Valet parking... read more
