Dr Gilbert needs to reevaluate his position on PANS/PANDAS. This is a condition that not only severely affects the particular children, but their families and the parents of that child. Having my son diagnosed and treated for PANS has drastically improved our lives. I find it very disappointing that Dr Gilbert dismisses this diagnosis and denies children affected, and their families, the chance to heal and connect on a healthy level. Such a shame and such ignorance.

Dr Don Gilbert on 20/20 was terrible in regards to his description about Pandas. I invite him to come into our home for a week so he can see if Pandas/Pans is real. The whole pandas/Pans community is appalled. Our children our suffering and he is trying to go out of his way to deny what all of our children have? So sad

You should be ashamed of yourselves for keeping Dr Gilbert on staff. He is wrong about pandas. He is being paid by big pharma for a Tourette’s drug. How dare he say that pandas doesn’t exist on one hand and then say it’s over diagnosed! My Boys clearly have it from strep and one is doing great now after proper treatment! How can you justify keeping this man on your staff? Appalling!

How in the world can Dr. Gilbert work against sick children with Pandas when treatment does work. This disease is not one size fits all and the symptoms vary in type and variety among children. It takes a doctor to THINK and EVALUATE. His active work to add confusion to the medical community is hurting children. It would be nice for research to wrap up this disease in a nice box with a ribbon around it. But it is not there yet. Meantime, children are sick. It takes courageous doctors to dig for answers. Like in the AIDS cris... read more

I’m opposed to Dr. Gilbert’s view on PANDAS/PANS. Highly suggest that you do more research on this condition and educate your doctors properly. Or if you’re opposed to that, please remove all references to treating or researching pandas from yours and your doctors websites. Thanks!

Well this post is directed to the CEO ... my daughter who suffers from EDS has been coming here from first diagnosis and was diagnosed here because other places misdiagnosed here!!! We are now told because she is near 21 that we will need to find new GI doctors and won’t be able to see our doctors here!! There are no EDS doctors for adults close and the adult GI doctors have no clue about EDS!!! So now basically the CEO is going to force a patient toward doctors who can’t even treat her illness!!! But if you have a heart def... read more

I want to thank all of you for the superb care of my granddaughter Iris~Danté. We were told on June 25th she needed to have surgery and we picked children's hospital for the surgery. I'm so glad we did she is due to come home the 11th or 12th of July. I love you all for the support and prayers. Highly recommend this hospital #2 in the nation and #1 in GI Surgery
