The nurses and other staff were so nice. We live in Ky and stayed inpatient so my son could have a 24 hour EEG and everyone we met that worked there were so nice to us.

Fire quack "Dr" Gilbert. He is a sinister, stunted, evil and poor excuse for a "doctor." PANS/PANDAS is indeed real and our most excellent and brilliant pediatric neurologist gave us back our child through proper diagnosis, treatment with antibiotics, antivirals, brief steroid course and monitoring via periodic labs. THIS HAS MADE ALL THE DIFFERENCE IN THE WORLD. Our child has never had a psychotropic medication. THIS IS MEDICAL. IT'S TREATABLE. TREAT IT WELL.

Dr. Gilbert does not “believe in” and refuses to treat children with PANDAS and PANS, despite current research, families experiences with PANDAS and the existence of PANDAS/PANS treatment centers at top notch facilities across the country. My child has PANDAS and has dramatically improved with antibiotics and IVIG. Dr Gilbert is wrong not to help children. It is malpractice.

If you suspect PANDAS or PANS, don’t take your child to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. According to their triage manual, they don’t test or treat. They dismiss the fact that treatable infections and inflammation can cause neuropsychiatric symptoms.

Shame on you "Doctor" Donald Gilbert in Neurology. Shame on you for instructing the staff in the ER to disregard PANDAS / PANS diagnosis. A condition that truly affects the quality of life of children. It is an autoimmune condition that affects movement & emotions. How dare you act like you know it all. Any doctor who acts like they know it all is a bad doctor who's more focused on his ego then patient care. If you dont believe in this condition that's fine but DO NOT INSTRUCT OTHERS TO DISREGARD IT. Do not go out of your wa... read more

I wonder how this hospital is going to handle the very negative "media storm" that is swiftly making its way to your hospital... due to Dr. Donald Gilbert "Child Neurologist" who is currently employed at this hospital and his joking and: so-called funny/ negative and untrue presentation he did on PANDAS/PANS. Pictures of him wearing the same tie as he did in his 20's. Dr. Gilbert made a fool of himself and Cincinnati Children's Hospital. Good luck Cincinnati Children's hospital so happy I live far far away from Dr. Donlad Gi... read more

I would never recommend this hospital to anyone. I am shocked at how good of ratings that this hospital gets due to the poor communication and care we've received. In our year of being admitted we have endured more heartache from lack of communication than any struggling parents should go through. Our NICU experience was absolutely horrifying solely because the nurses would rather talk about their personal lives or be on their phones rather than caring for our children. Coming from Good Samaritan Hospital we were extremely l... read more
