My daughter was very sick last week and we had a great experience with Children’s hospital downtown. The PICU nurses are amazing!! Displayed intelligence and compassion for my daughter as well as us parents. The nurses and doctor team were knowledgeable and you were in on the discussion of your child’s care as well when they did rounds in the morning so you knew what was going on. When we were moved out of ICU onto a regular floor the nursing there was good too, response time slower of course than in the PICU because they ar... read more

Kaiser Permanente is misdiagnosing people with fibromyalgia to get out of treating their actual medical problems And everyone diagnosed with fibromyalgia at Kaiser Permanente should go somewhere else and be retested Also I believe they were giving me suicide pills to get me to kill myself so they would not have to treat me

Children's Hospital may be a world renowned Hospital for many things, however it can't be for their Emergency Room Department. My Son was there last week, and I was told several different procedures to follow by nurses and doctors for at home care smh .. We came back 5 days later to follow up with a Specialist only to be told that what the emergency room told us was incorrect. I repeatidly told the Specialist that it was their ER who gave us those orders, but she ignored my statement several times, instead choosing to act as... read more

there maybe great departments & doctors at this hospital I'm sure, but the emergency room is awful!!! I have literally been here for more then 2 hours with my daughter & we're still waiting! That is absolutely ridiculous to me! I am also fed up with the opthamology department & the crap they continue to feed us! Maybe if they just did their jobs correctly we wouldn't be here to begin with! I should've a long time ago, but I will definitely be getting a second opinion!

Cincinnati Children’s is nothing short of amazing. The doctors, nurses and staff were all wonderful in our stay. My son received the best care and am so thankful to have the best hospital in the nation nearby.

Dr. Gilbert should be investigated for medical malpractice. He refuses to treat or even test for PANDAS. Of course, he doesn’t disclose he received financial support from a pharmaceutical company manufacturing medication for tics. Tics are a main symptom of PANDAS, treatable with inexpensive antibiotics. Motive for his refusal to “do no harm”? I think so.

We had a horrible experience in the lab department! We were referred there from our pediatrician because my daughter possibly had a uti. They needed to catheter her to get a urine sample, since she was an infant. The first nurse couldn’t get urine from her because she wasn’t even in the correct place to get urine from. Then the other two nurses came down and they were not compassionate at all with my daughter and were like “ is this even the right place to put the catheter”. Yeah that’s not reassuring! And I noticed too that... read more
