Cincinnati Children’s has been our go to with any ailment our children have faced thus far. Our first admission experience was a few months ago for my toddler’s bout with pneumonia. The staff was absolutely phenomenal. I cannot say enough good things about our experience. From ER to X-rays to bloodwork to getting settled into our hospital room to the team of 7 doctors that were SO responsive and patient, the team made a horrifying situation almost tolerable. Fast forward to this morning, my toddler was again seen for what I ... read more
Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and Medical Center might be number 2 in the nation, but CCHMC is number 1 to us. This is an amazing facility, with fantastic staff, nursing, and physicians.
nice and friendly staff. we went here for a sleep study. cons: you have to walk past the ER and urgent care to go to the sleep study area - with an airway compromised kid, this made me a bit nervous. also... liberty is so far away from Kentucky lol
Worst experience in medical facility. Took my daughter in for migraine based on primary care drs recommendation for treatment.. Daughter has history of migraines, has prescription for migraines and clearly was suffering from a migraine. We were moved 3 times, once back to lobby then twice to different rooms. Took 4 hours to get her on IV fluids only. She was examined twice by 2 different doctors: shinning light in both eyes, checking her reflexes, having her go through series of neurological exercises. We were asked SAME ser... read more

I, as a grandma, wanted and kept pushing for my son to take my grandson to Children's for Dental workl...I was sure it was the best, most well equipped place for a child with special needs....first appt was great...they evaluated him and sent him to liberty for Maks to be sedated and checked and work done...goes back for 6 mos check up, at Cincinnati, has no idea he is speacial needs...both parents took off work to take him and Dentist did not know how to handle a child with Autism....Sooooo disappointed for our Maks...no I'... read more
CCHMC is amazing! Once we finally got a diagnosis of severe laryngomalacia (shout out to Dr Hart) for my preemie son, he got his own team: aerodigestive (ENT, pulm, and GI), also he sees cardio and saw opthamalogy too. Dr Hart did 2 surgeries on my little boy, and he finally got off having to be on oxygen 24/7, and only needs it for sleep. We continue to see the doctors on his team, and all of them, as well as the nursing staff and the RTs, are so sweet and really care!
