We stayed for 2 nights in Willow Lodge for our wedding and reception at Chycara on the 4th October 2025 and what a perfect venue we chose! Our guests also stayed in several of the other lodges. The venue itself was perfect for a wedding of 76, we were fortunate enough to be married on the island, also taking advantage of the very well priced marquee, in case the weather turned for the worse! A hidden gem
I have just returned from another wonderful visit at Chycara with my children. It's always a great experience. Lake lodge is perfect and spacious when you have teenage kids, with room to relax and a well equipped kitchen. We also managed to swim and even play tennis inspite of the rain. Rob and the team were always helpful and friendly. Also special thanks for the lift into town. See you for the New Year.
Perfect. We stayed at the Beech Hut for 5 nights and felt really safe, tranquil and comfortable here. The house is heated for colder nights (heats quickly) and most amenities are provided (apart from shampoo/bodywash). The hut is much bigger than the usual "shepherd hut" and it was just perfect for 2 people. Lots of parking, beautiful environment, stable wifi. REALLY CUTE CAT roaming around too btw
Very central location to visit multiple sites in Cornwall. Quiet, peaceful and beautiful! You have a lot of privacy. We stayed in the Holly lodge. We could see horses running in the field from the living room!
