On a positive side the apartment was in a good spot for sightseeing the city and there was view of the Minster. The negative side was the lack of health and safety in the bathrooms. No non-slip mats in either the shower or bath. My husband slipped getting out of the shower and our friend had mega problems showering in the bath. No fresh air facility in the living room, just a fan…..and it was hot during our stay. The kitchen was ill-equipped, not even a dish cloth! Very disappointed location excellent although very noisy but the whole apartment was very dirty! We had to wash crockery before we could use, couldn't use the oven it was disgusting everything was covered in dust and the freezer door had mould on which had obviously been there a while, not recommended

Good central location but the apartments are on a very busy road so can get very noisy. Security is taken seriously but we had to input codes several times to get doors to open and lift was out of order during our 2 night stay. The apartment (Aspire 3) was very clean, comfortable and extremely well equipped. The beds were comfy and cosy and a good sleep was had by all. 2 minute walk to centre of York but if going further afield and taxi required, book well in advance, they are not easy to come by! Very close to York Cathedral. Good size apartment and well equipt. Parking is a bonus and the Supermarket downstairs. Good bathroom. Nice beds and living area. Was a bit loud as there is a pub outside. Some might think the area is run down. It was more student ville to me. I thought it was good value.
